The Southern Nevada Business Resource Network (SNBRN) hosted the Rapid Resourcing for Small Business event today at the Vegas PBS facility. The SNBRN group was formed in December 2010 with the purpose of connecting aspiring and existing business owners with community resources that could help them start and grow their businesses and create jobs in Nevada.
Members of the Southern Nevada Business Resource Network include the Small Business Administration, the Nevada Department of Taxation, Nevada State Development Corp., Bank of America, Internal Revenue Service, Las Vegas Urban League, Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development, National Association of Minority Contractors, Nevada Minority Supplier Development Council, Nevada Microenterprise Initiative, Nevada State SHRM Council, Nevada Dept. of Business and Industry, SCORE, Silver State Works, Paychex, U.S. Social Security Administration, UNLV Nevada Small Business Development Center, U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture – Rural Development, Vegas PBS, Vegas Young Professionals, Workforce Connections and the Women’s Business Enterprise Council.
